Airport Land Use Plan

An Ideal Location for Business and Family

Many businesses have already made the move to the Minden-Tahoe Airport and the surrounding area. The airport houses approximately 250 based aircraft, accommodates an estimated 80,000 annual operations, and attracts more than 15,000 visitors each year. The airport leases hangars and has ground leases available. The total direct economic impact of the airport is estimated at $30 million.

Besides having access to a first-rate airport and enjoying the year-round activities, businesses are attracted to the following economic advantages:

  • No state tax on inventory

  • No state personal income tax

  • Low cost of living

  • Plenty of room for expansion

  • Competitive land-lease rates for aviation-related businesses

  • Good highway access for transportation
